Cutting edge osteoarthritis

Cutting Edge Osteoarthritis was held at Pembroke College in Oxford on Wednesday 24 June 2015, with a half-day pre-meeting, primarily for post-docs and students, on Tuesday 23 June.

This will be a focused meeting, with an exciting programme of internationally renowned speakers presenting the cutting edge of osteoarthritis research.

Farshid Guilak – Duke University                              Matt Warman – Harvard University

Irene Tracey – University of Oxford                          Phil Conaghan – University of Leeds

Paul Martin – University of Bristol                            Beatriz Caramés (La Coruña)

Jeremy Saklatvala (Oxford)                                      Tom McCarthy (Spinifex)

The half-day pre-meeting will give students and young post-docs the opportunity to network with each other and with leaders in the osteoarthritis field. There will be an extended poster session, and many slots will be available for short talks selected from submitted abstracts. There will also be a keynote presentation on academic career pathways from Professor Patrick Maxwell, Regius Professor of Physic, Cambridge University, followed by an informal dinner in the College.

The reception dinner will be held in the 19th century dining hall of Pembroke College, and en-suite accommodation will also be right on site at the College.
